SC is so excited to be hosting the NAAP (National Association of Activity Professionals Association) 2011 conference at the Sheraton Hotel in Myrtle Beach, March 30-April 3, 2011. We hope you will make plans NOW to attend and be sure and add this to your budgets. This will be the 29th annual NAAP conference and the FIRST TIME EVER in SC!! We want to really shine and show how great our State is!
If you are not yet a NAAP member, you can go to their Web site, www.thenaap.com for membership information. Rates dropped from $75.00 to $59.00 this year. You will need to be a NAAP member to attend the conference at the lower rate and also will need to be a member to assist us during the conference.
We will be responsible for registration, conference goody bags, decorating, entertainment during the Awards Banquet, and assisting in monitoring during all the education sessions. We will need all the help we can get, and if you are willing, please let us know!
During the conference, you will have the opportunity to choose 6 from 36 con-current education sessions, in addition to 2 general sessions. You will have the oppportunity to visit all the major vendors and see their products and resources first hand, not just in a catalog. You will have the opportunity to meet and network with Activity Professionals from all across the US, Canada and Bermuda! You cam make new friends from all over and it is awesome! You will come back from this conference motivated and rejuvenated with great new ideas to help those you serve!
