SCAPA One Day Workshop 2025

Join the South Carolina Activity Professionals Association (SCAPA) for a
powerful day of professional development, networking, and inspiration at our
Annual One Day Workshop. This in-person event is perfect for Activity
Professionals, Life Enrichment Coordinators, Recreation Staff, Social Workers,
Administrators, and anyone working in senior care settings.

This year’s workshop offers 6 continuing education (CE) credit hours and features four expert-led sessions designed to equip you with actionable tools, innovative programming ideas, and strategies to combat burnout, inspire residents, and create positive, lasting change in your community.

Workshop Sessions Include:

• The BURNOUT Program – Learn how to identify and overcome the core causes of professional burnout while caring for others.

• The CAD Method for Sustainable Change – A guided approach to goal-setting and behavior change using the “Change, Achieve, Do” framework.

• Dreams Come True – Explore award-winning ways to bring residents’ dreams to life and take your engagement programming to the next level.

• Staff & Resident Challenges – Discover fresh, realistic, and fun solutions to everyday challenges in your community, from food and music to intergenerational activities.

Registration Fees:

• SCAPA Members: $135 (by August 5) | $145 (after August 5)

• Non-Members: $175 (by August 5) | $185 (after August 5)
  Non-member registration includes a 1-year SCAPA membership.)
